Description
The Modern Flames Orion Traditional Series is a built-in or insert-style electric fireplace system designed for residential and light commercial interior applications. The unit is fully electric and does not require venting, combustion air, or gas connections. Installation is intended for framed wall cavities or existing fireplace openings, depending on model size and configuration.
The Orion Traditional Series utilizes Modern Flames’ documented Heliovision™ flame system, combining LED flame projection, illuminated log media, ember bed lighting, and integrated sound functionality. Flame operation and heating functions are electrically powered and may be operated independently.
The series is available in five model sizes: OR26-TRAD, OR30-TRAD, OR36-TRAD, OR42-TRAD, and OR54-TRAD. Each model is supplied as a single integrated unit and is compatible with optional surround trim kits and media options as documented by the manufacturer.
Heating is provided by an integrated electric heater with output dependent on voltage configuration. Smaller models operate on 120V power, while larger models support 240V electrical connection where specified. Electrical connection requirements vary by model and must be verified against the applicable specification sheet prior to installation.
